5 Pilates studio in Bangkok I actually keep going back to

Wellness has been having a moment lately, and somewhere along the way, Pilates found its way into my routine too. I never thought I would be a Pilates girl. I have always been more of a gym person, the kind who lifts weights, follows a routine, and leaves. But about two years ago, I kept seeing reformer beds all over my Instagram stories and TikTok. It looked slow, controlled, almost too easy, which is exactly what made me curious enough to try it for myself.

I still remember my first class so clearly. My legs were shaking halfway through, and I was trying to hold positions that looked simple but felt anything but. Pilates has a way of making you realize how much of your body you are not actually engaging. It is not just about movement, it is about control, posture, and the way you carry yourself in every second of the exercise. If your form is even slightly off, you feel it immediately.

I used to think reformer was harder than mat, but now I see them as equally challenging. What seems like a light workout from the outside quickly turns into something much deeper once you are in it. And over time, I found myself going back. Not to every studio, but to a few that felt right in different ways. These are the ones I keep returning to.

My favorite Pilates studio in Bangkok

Pilates Plus, Thonglor

Pilates Plus feels familiar to me in a way that the others do not. I have been coming here since I was 17, back when I was still in university, although at the time I was only taking barre classes. I remember feeling slightly intimidated walking into those classes, and if I am being honest, that feeling has never completely gone away.

The studio itself reflects that classic Thonglor energy. It is clean and minimal without trying too hard. There is something about the space that makes it approachable, even when the class ends up being more intense than expected. Their reformer classes are easy to follow and well-paced, which makes them great if you are easing into it. But if you are looking for a challenge, their barre plus classes will push you in ways that still surprise me. It is the kind of place that balances comfort and discipline, which is probably why I keep coming back.

Pillar Pilates, Phra Khanong

Pillar Pilates feels different the moment you walk in. The studio has soft pink tones with an overall aesthetic that feels very intentional. It is the kind of place that looks almost too pretty to be intimidating, but once the class starts, that illusion disappears quickly.

Located near Phra Khanong BTS, the studio is incredibly convenient, but what stands out more is the intensity of the workout itself. I remember being halfway through a core class and realizing that my entire body was shaking and sweating. The instructors are friendly and encouraging, but they know exactly how to push you just enough without making it overwhelming. You leave feeling it immediately, and it is the kind of soreness that lingers in a way that reminds you you actually worked your body properly.

Stretch Studio, Thonglor

Stretch Studio feels like a shift in pace where everything feels softer and more grounded. The lighting is warm, the space is calm, and there is a quietness to it that makes the entire experience feel more intentional.

I took a class with Tina, and her presence really shaped how I experienced the session. Her voice is calm and reassuring, guiding you through each movement in a way that feels supportive rather than demanding. It is one of those classes where you become more aware of your body rather than just pushing through it.

The location also adds to the experience. After class, you step out into an area filled with restaurants and cafés, making it easy to turn the session into a nice brunch or dinner.

Corre BKK, Phra Khanong

I find myself going to Corre when I want something close. Being a 10-minute walk from my home definitely plays a role, but what keeps me coming back is the atmosphere. It is smaller than most studios, but that does not take away from the quality of the class.

The space does not feel crowded or overwhelming, and because they focus heavily on private sessions, even group classes feel more personal. The instructors are warm and attentive in a way that makes you feel seen without being singled out. Adjustments are gentle but precise, and there is a level of care in how they guide you through each movement.

A-List Studio, National Stadium

A-List Studio was one of those experiences that stayed with me. I went in expecting a regular group class, but ended up being the only person there, which turned it into a technically free private session.

The studio itself is simple and focused, without too many distractions. Everything is centered around the workout, and once it starts, there is nowhere to hide. Every movement is observed, every posture corrected, and every small adjustment makes a noticeable difference. I remember sweating almost immediately, fully engaged in a way that felt intense but also rewarding.

Pimmi’s Perspective

I have realized that it is not really about finding the best Pilates studio. It is about finding the ones that make you want to come back. The ones that fit into your routine, your mood, and the kind of energy you have that day. Some days you want to be pushed, and other days you want something slower. Over time, you start to understand what your body needs, and you naturally return to the places that give you that. I never expected Pilates to become something I would stick to, but now it feels like one of the few things that has quietly become a part of my routine.
