April in Thailand always feels a little intense. The kind of heat that makes you rethink everything, from what you wear to how long you’re willing to stay outside. And with Songkran right in the middle of it, it becomes less about looking put together and more about figuring out what actually works. I already know I’ll be spending most of my time somewhere near an air conditioner, but for the moments we do step out, whether it’s for a quick coffee, a walk, or getting caught in the middle of a water fight, there’s a certain kind of beauty routine that just makes more sense.
For the longest time, I tried to make everything last. More layers, more setting, more effort. But living in this climate, especially during Songkran, you realize pretty quickly that it’s not really about making things stay, it’s about choosing products that move with you. Lightweight, breathable, and a little more forgiving.

Everyone knows K-beauty, but lately I’ve been paying more attention to something closer to home. T-beauty, in a way that feels less like a trend and more like something that’s been quietly evolving around us. As someone who grew up here, there’s something I genuinely love about seeing Thai brands create products that actually understand this weather. The humidity, the heat, the way your skin changes throughout the day. It’s thoughtful in a way that doesn’t try too hard, but just works.
So this isn’t really about a perfect routine. It’s more a collection of things I’ve found myself reaching for, especially during Songkran.

The base that makes everything make sense
Ingu Super Light Soothing Sunscreen starts off with a bit of glow, then settles into a soft, skin-like finish. It doesn’t feel heavy or like it’s sitting on top of the skin, and it doesn’t try to fight the heat. It just adjusts throughout the day, which, in this kind of weather, makes a difference.
The one that holds everything together
PRAMY Moisturizing Makeup Setting Spray is a new addition that I’m currently loving. The mist is really fine, adding a slight matte glow without making the skin feel tight or overly set. We cannot forget the scent and Panpuri’s One Night in Bangkok perfume oil is the one I always keep in my bag. It’s warm, slightly floral, with a bit of spice from black pepper. There’s something about it that feels familiar but still a little unexpected, like walking past flower stalls late at night in the city. Even when everything else fades a little, this is what stays.
